Hickman Line

One of the members has a child with a Hickman line. She wanted to share her experience and information she received to help anyone else in the same situation. This is not medical information nor is it approved by the team in Crumlin. It is a parent who really wants to share information from her experience that she found very useful.

‘A girl I knew had a child with cancer and she passed me on the attached info. I don’t change the dressing as we need bloods etc done weekly in hospital but I have asked if I could be signed off  tho do the dressing for whenever the time comes, so that we do not require to go the hospital for bloods etc.’
